On 21 November 2022, we obtained for our Client, a company that is part of a Swiss conglomerate engaged in the extraction and processing of mineral resources, a favourable judgment of the Court of Appeal in Łódź in a multi-threaded case concerning unfair competition in the fertiliser market.

On Friday, the Senate of the Republic of Poland adopted a draft compensation special prupose act, providing for a simplified route for entrepreneurs affected by COVID-19 to seek compensation. We are pleased to have been able to work on this bill together with Senator Krzysztof Kwiatkowski, Chairman of the Legislative Committee and entrepreneurs whose businesses had been closed due to COVID-19.

On 2 February 2021, our law firm, acting on behalf of dozens of Polish fitness club operators, filed the first part of pre-litigation summonses to the State Treasury to unfreeze fitness industry and pay damages to the Prime Minister's Office. The summonses are a prelude to a class action lawsuit being prepared by LWW.
