The judgment concerns the rules of liability of charter carriers and the jurisdiction of the local court in cases of compensation for delayed or cancelled flights. However, the question arises whether, once the airline industry resumes its operations, it will be able to bear such a regime of liability that is so beneficial to passengers and whether these provisions should not be limited to the time of recovery from the crisis.
